VERY VERY OLD BAKING STUFF
If you guys did not know, my birthday is tomorrow. And I got some special stuff over the week. Like Harry Potter stuff that I got from my aunt. But, a really special thing I got was very, very old family-tree baking supplies from my Grandma Jeanne.
I have gotten some really cool things, but this was up there. I got a donut maker that was my great-grandfather’s mom’s, an apron sewed by my great-great-great-grandmother (so many greats!), and vintage cookie cutters. I also got one of those hand mixers from the 1950s - or older? I think it's all sooooo cool!! My Great-Grandma Joyce’s first job was working at a bakery at 14 years old. Grandma Jeanne says that GG Grandma Della’s passion was baking. Every Saturday morning she would make little GG Joyce fresh fried donuts.
My Grandma Jeanne also gave me a modern day no-fry bake only donut maker. So get ready to see some tasty donuts over the next few weeks!
I come from a long long line of great bakers!! And I bet you do too!
